Since 1989, Birmingham Lacrosse has been providing players with the highest level lacrosse experience in the State. Birmingham Youth Lacrosse is proud to announce that in the Summer of 2024, in addition to our premier community-based teams, we will be forming a select tournament team at both the U10 (3/4 Grade) and U12 (5/6 Grade) level.
The goal is to develop player skills and teamwork, while focusing on the Program mission statement - which is to foster and advance the game of lacrosse and provide a safe and fun opportunity for the youth. We will emphasize the development of self-esteem, good sportsmanship, fitness, goal achievement, teamwork, and skill through learning and playing the great game of lacrosse. We will encourage our athletes to be the best that they can be both on and off the playing field.
Birmingham Youth Lacrosse is a non-profit organization. Accordingly, the goal of the Program is to break even, just like we have done for nearly 35 years. The cost will reflect only what is necessary to cover expenses, no additional fees will be charged. To us, teaching youth lacrosse is not, and should not be a business. What we run is a youth lacrosse organization, with a profound history, with the goal to make good players great.
