Birmingham Bulldogs Lacrosse
Birmingham Youth Lacrosse Association is a premier Michigan based non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the game of lacrosse to the student athletes in the Birmingham Public School District. The Bulldogs run teams year round (spring, summer, fall and winter sessions) from 1st-8th grade. We practice and play home games at Birmingham facilities with players coming from Birmingham elementary and middle schools.
Bulldogs Sumer Lacrosse
We will practice and play games at either Berkshire Middle School or Seaholm High School. The Spring schedule is determined by each coach, and the same will be updated on TeamSnap, but the tentative schedule is as follows:
U8s 1-2 days/week of training;
U10s 1-2 days/week of training;
U12s 2-3 days/week of training; and
U14s 2-3 days/week of training.
We will start the summer with a three day camp run by Chris Kolon, Spencer Garrett, and an impressive group of coaches who will be assisting, running Monday, June 16th through Wednesday, June 18th at Berkshire Middle School. The camp will be split between 1st-4th grade and 5th-8th grade (and further split within each group by skill and ability level). Each group will be running three (3) hours each day during the three day camp:
1st-4th grade - 9 am to 12 pm
5th-8th grade - 1 pm to 4 pm.
Following the camp, the teams will train weekly. All team will attend the LaxBash Summer Finale tournament, and our U10, U12, and U14 teams will play in the Niagara Lacrosse Classic in Youngstown, NY. With the exception of uniforms, all costs are all included in the Summer fee.
